In the game you're also part of the army fighting to save humanity from extinction, but it's done differently, with different characters, etc. Gameplay wise it's an action RPG, which I suggest looking up on YouTube to see if it grabs your interest. Fun battle system tbh, though levels can drag outside of that at times. Pretty short for an RPG too honestly (like... 15 hours at most I think).

the bike sections against MZMA are fun

I'm kinda mixed on the bike sections personally. Fun, but they go on for way too long imo, which kinda puts a difficulty spike on them, since it's pretty easy to get damaged as it goes on longer.
